On the Line of Duty: 3 Navy Seals and Their Ordeal

What if while doing your job and thinking that you have done something really great in the end will endanger your life and put you into shame, how would you feel?

This is exactly the sentiments of 3 United States Navy Seals who had captured one of Iraq's most wanted terrorist which ended up being charged with assault. These are also the same people who the US Navy SEALs Store would like to help and express their support.

According to Fox News Navy SEALs have secretly captured the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. Three of the SEALs that have bring the person to justice are now facing raps instead of of being lauded and congratulated.

Matthew McCabe, a Special Operations Petty Officer Second Class (SO-2), is facing three charges: dereliction of performance of duty for willfully failing to safeguard a detainee, making a false official statement, and assault.

Petty Officer Jonathan Keefe, SO-2, is facing charges of dereliction of performance of duty and making a false official statement.

Petty Officer Julio Huertas, SO-1, faces those same charges and an additional charge of impediment of an investigation.

Neal Puckett, an attorney representing McCabe, told Fox News the SEALs are being charged for allegedly giving the detainee a “punch in the gut.”

Sure the rights of everyone including that of the most notorious terrorist should be protected and respected but there are times that our emotions get over us. Instead of punishment they should just be reprimanded and then lauded for the greater work that they have done.

Terrorists like Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named "Objective Amber," deserves strong punishment for his crimes against humanity. And that goes not only for him but to all others who have caused great suffering to the people and to the world and the planet.

Again I hope that people will support the US Navy SEALs Store who are trying to raise money for the 3 Navy SEALs that are charged by assault.
