Nicanor "Nick" Perlas celebrates his 60th birthday today without funfair, without the extravagant parties but with inner hope and great interest to see his country, the Philippines achieve its highest potentials.
To a man who despite the odds stood up and run for the presidency of the Philippines... to a man who though misunderstood by many never ever falter in his desire to empower the Filipinos... to a man who despite his status had always had his foot on the ground... to a man whom this country needs but had received the greatest of insults already... a salute and a HAPPY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
