Hachiko Monogatari, the story of Hachi, an Akita dog who had been loyally waiting for his master even he had died long ago. Professor Ueno, the master of Hachi had loved the dog so much and every time the professor goes to the train station the dog accompanies him and then waits for him every time he arrives.
The dogs loyalty had not end eventhough the professor died, Hachi would continue to wait at the train station at the exact time everyday for nine years until he finally succumbs to death. It was a story of loyalty which inspired the town and proves that dog is indeed man's best friend.
May we be inspired by this story and widen our view about life and loyalty. Here is Hachi in the original Japanese movie, Hachiko Monogatari. A similar film was done in 2009 which starts Richard Geere and is entitled, "Hachi: A Dog's Tale."
